HI ladies it's me again and hope y'all are doing well. Today the title I have for this is called ''A Woman Warriors Trusts In God's Promises''. Today I will be sharing with you ladies about a wonderful godly woman named Elizabeth and her husband Zechariah. Now in the Old Testament there was a prophet named Zechariah but in the New Testament Elizabeth's husband Zechariah was a priest. In our time Elizabeth would be like a ''pastor's wife'' well sort of. Anyway the Bible in the gospel of Luke 1;1-15 and vs 40;-80 talk about the life of Elizabeth and her husband. The Bible makes it clear that they both lived godly lives and did their best to keep the law of Moses and were descendents of Aaron Moses' brother! It's likely Zechariah came from a family lineage of priests. But the Bible says they were old very much like Abraham and his first wife Sarah were in the book of Genesis until Genesis 21! But the archangel Gabriel appeared to Zechariah offering sacrifice and the 2006 movie ''The Nativity Story'' does a good job portraying what he did in the temple. Anyway angel Gabriel told him his wife will bear a son and call him John who would later become John the Baptist who's be the long distance cousin of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Of course Zechariah chose unbelief instead of faith and the angel struck him mute until the child was born. Through impossible circumstances, God enabled Elizabeth to conceive at her old age just like God had done in Sarah's womb conceiving Isaac in the Old Testament. Simply put, God helped another infertile woman to conceive! Women warriors, I don't know what challenges y'all are facing today. It may not be a pregnancy like Elizabeth or even Sarah in the Old Testament but it may be relational challenges in your family or friends, job loss, financial troubles, maybe you lost a loved one or someone who you care about has a chronic illness. Whatever the situation is, I want you to trust God's promises that are sure and amen. Of course our prayers may not always be answered the way or timing that we want but God's timing is always best. I wanted to share that with y'all today. Blessings to each of you ladies and have a wonderful week in the Lord!
