Woman Warrior Outcaster Encounters Christ

Hi ladies it's me again and hope y'all are having a wonderful day. I'm happy to present another blog and today it's called ''woman warrior outcaster encounters Christ''. Today the theme is about the Samaritan woman mentioned in the gospel of John 4, a story that a lot of us in the body of Christ know about. Jesus our Lord and Savior was in His first year of ministry and chose His disciples and has done several miracles, traveled a lot and decided to take a rest in Samaria. People have to understand that back then Jews traveling Samaria wasn't the thing to do and the Jews and Samaritans didn't like each other. It was because full blooded Jews considered Samaritans ''half breeds'' because they were half Jew and Gentile and also because Samaritans didn't believe in Jehovah God like they should have like the Jews did. Anyway despite Jews and Samaritans not liking each other, Jesus stopped anyway to talk to the Samaritan woman. Of course it's very well known not only was she an outcast because of her race she also was an outcast because she was a divorcee too! In fact our Lord and Savior even told she had five husbands which means she was married and divorced five times! And despite that, Jesus was kind to her, granted her living water what she was searching for, and revealed to her that He's the Messiah! Isn't that beautiful? Our Lord and Savior knew her broken past and despite that welcomed her with open arms and from then on she would become a radical follower of Jesus and she wasn't even Jewish! That should be an encouragement to us ladies especially when we don't feel like we belong because we don't ''fit in'' with society, sadly even with family or sadly people in the body of Christ judge us wrongly, that Christ loves and accepts us. He knows our rising and sitting down, our happy days and things we would rather keep hidden from others. Christ isn't intimidated about our brokenness even though people can be at times. Even though a lot of us know this story, let's look at it with new eyes and see how a racially rejected divorcee got to encounter Christ in her brokenness and let us remember that our Lord meets us best in our brokenness because only He can make us whole. that's what I wanted to share with y'all. Blessings everyone and have a great week in the Lord!
