Woman Warrior Being Intimate With Jesus
Hi ladies it's me again and hope y'all are doing well. The title of the blog is a Woman Warrior Being Intimate With Jesus. In the blog today I'm talking about Jesus and His lady friends Mary and Martha of Bethany. Many of us in the body of Christ have heard about them. Alot of us know about them in the gospel of John 11 when Jesus rose Lazarus their brother from the dead and John 12 when they invited Jesus to their house and Mary of Bethany poured oil on Jesus feet and Judas Iscariot criticized her and Jesus defended her! In this account is mentioned in the account of Luke 10:38-42 where Mary of Bethany sat at the feet of Jesus to listen to what He had to say while Martha served. Now is serving a bad thing? No its not. Martha tried to talk her sister from listening to Jesus while Jesus reminded Martha only one thing is needed that won't be taken away from her. The lesson for us in Luke is I heard a wise Christian say "Our service for God can never replace time in His presence". In other words we God's people can be "too busy" serving and neglect our time with the Lord just like Martha did. Mary of Bethany knew that serving was important but more than anything else she understood the importance of her one on one time with Jesus. How important for us to remember for today in a busy world vying our affection and attention and even doing "church stuff" and serving we forget it's about a love relationship with our King. In fact the more intimate we are with our King Jesus that improves our serving but Martha had it backwards! The lesson is a woman warrior understands her time with the Lord is essential for her spiritual walk and other parts of her life. I understand that more than ever before and I pray that y'all understand that too. Blessings, have a great day, and it's all about our time with Him!
