Hi ladies it's me again and happy Lord's day and Happy St Patrick's Day! I hope and pray that each of you ladies and your families are doing well. I've been sharing blogs for "Women's History Month" and I'll continue to do so but today I'm taking a break from that. Why? Because it's St Patrick's Day I'm gonna be sharing some history about him. He was born in Britain and didn't really care about the things of God in his youth and lived in a descent family. But as a teenager everything changed when he got kidnapped to Ireland by the pirates! But God used that to humble him and the pirates reminded him being Irish was his identity. He later worked as a shepherd and converted to Christianity! He had a earnest desire to return home and was able to board a ship to go home to Britain. While there, he continued to grow more in Christian faith. Then he had a vision of a voice calling him back to Ireland and therefore he relocated back to Ireland the place where he was enslaved. He later became an ordained Bishop and baptized many people. He led wealthy women, princes, and countless others to Christianity! He never married or had kids but impacted countless people lives. Where did St Patrick's Day traditions come from? Well that started in 1631 centuries after his death where people wear green, eat beef, and do other fun things. While I love the traditions of that it's important to know the real story behind St Patrick! So there you have it! History behind St Patrick who was a Christian and missionary! Hope y'all enjoyed the blog, happy Lord's day, and enjoy your week everyone.
