Hi ladies it's me again and happy Lord's day! I hope and pray that y'all are doing well. I'm happy to be back with another blog called "Trials Occur For Us To Help Others". That's based from the seventh chapter of my book "Strength For Enduring Adversity". I think it doesn't take rocket science to know that life is hard isn't it? Tragedy can occur no matter what age we are and regardless if we believe in God or not. But we can use our circumstances to help others. I'm gonna share a couple of examples of godly people who have been through some tough things to help others. These maybe people you never heard of but worth mentioning. One is a Christian black man named Ben Tankard. (I mention him in the book too.) He grew up poor and a pastors kid who was tall could play basketball and play music. He finished high school went to college for basketball scholarship and would be part of the NBA if he finished. Well he got injured in 1984 and got kicked out but afterwards he got saved at church. He worked odd jobs as a dog catcher and worked at a music store while honing his piano skills. He started music company of Tribute records and became a Gospel/Jazz artist. Sadly not everyone liked "Gospel/Jazz" because it wasn't done before. He endured challenges in his personal life such as going through a division and death of his parents. But he remarried, blended a family, and would have a successful music career, would be a pastor, and author. Another story a Christian white lady named Joy Anderson was married in 2000 and was married to her first husband for eight years and had three kids with him. He worked while she was a house wife. But in 2008 her world turned upside down when her eight year marriage ended in divorce. She couldn't be a house wife anymore and God put it on her heart to start a preschool business. She didn't want to get a job and put kids in daycare or start a daycare. Through trials and perseverance she started a preschool so she could bring her kids to work with her and she later remarried and grew her family. Two great stories right trials being used to help others? One was mentioned in the book and the other wasn't mentioned in the book. I hope those stories encouraged y'all and if you haven't gotten my book go check it out on Amazon. Blessings, happy Lord's day, and have a blessed week everyone.
