Letting God Into Our Pain

Hi ladies it's me again and happy Lord's day! I hope and pray that each of you ladies and your families are doing well. I'm happy to present another blog called "Letting God Into Our Pain" which is based from chapters 6 of my book called "Strength For Enduring Adversity". I know some of y'all maybe thinking. "Dugh!" Which I mention that in the chapter. But a lot of us have what I call "unhealed pain" which unfortunately isn't addressed like it should be. Maybe you had a traumatic childhood or like me had a difficult teen years. Honestly young adulthood has been extremely challenging from the moment I turned eighteen and I've been a young adult the past twelve years. (I believe young adult hood starts at eighteen and ends at 39 years old. I believe middle adulthood starts at forty through mid sixties.) Others of you may not know Jesus as Lord and Savior or maybe you drifted away from Him. If you never got saved or drifted away from the Lord I pray that you'll come back to Him or give your life to Him for the first time. Also if you already know Jesus as Lord and Savior it's important to invite Him into our brokenness. I know that's easier said than done and I know from experience. Lately that's something I've been doing more of and just like Christ won't force us to ask Him into our hearts to save us He won't force us to let Him in our brokenness either. He has to be invited in. That's my prayer today whether it's pain from your past or present pain that you let Him in for the Bible says "God is near to the brokenhearted and saves thousands who are crushed in spirit." Also if you haven't gotten my book "Strength For Enduring Adversity" I'd encourage you to check it out on Amazon. Blessings, happy Lord's day, and hope you have a blessed week everyone.
