Hi ladies it's me again and happy Tuesday! I hope and pray that each of you ladies and your families are doing well. I'm happy to present another blog called ''Why Don't Preachers Talk About The End Times?'' Now ladies let me be clear about something. Am I here to badmouth, gossip, or slander pastors? No! Y'all know that I don't operate like that and the sad truth is there are a ton of ''so-called Christians'' making ''snarky'' comments about pastors who have a gossip and slanderous tongue and I know that God isn't pleased with that! I'm just keeping it real! It's sad that Christians are like that both on social media and in real life and I've seen it firsthand! Godwilling, in the future I'll share a blog about that and share what Scripture has to say about people who have a gossip and slanderous tongue as a word of warning for folks like that! But that's for another blog but anyway the question is why don't preachers talk much about the end times? Like I said, growing up at my former church (I attend and a member at a different one for the past six years) it used to be talked about all the time. Okay I don't mean all the time but enough times that I heard it in songs, sermons, and even in movies! (Movies like 1972's ''A Thief In The Night'' starring Patty Dunning, 1999's ''The Moment After'' starring David A R White'', and 2000's ''Left Behind'' starring Kirk Cameron to name a few!) I used to annoy the daylights out of me hearing about all these things but it surely made you get serious about your walk with Christ and want to live the way that you should live! I'm not saying those things made me want to give my life to Christ but it did make me take my eternity seriously and my Christian walk. My wise godfather always says. ''To be forewarned is to be forearmed''. In other words, if you know what's coming in the future, you know how to prepare. The end times ladies are no exception to the rule. But why don't we hear alot about it? Let me share the first reason why I think it's not common. Number one it isn't the ''hot topic'' or cool topic to talk about these days. Now I know the Bible is full of so many wonderful subjects to talk about things like salvation, Spirit baptism, stories about biblical characters, living right before God, giving, Jesus' birth, miracles, death, and resurrection and so many other wonderful things to address. I know this first hand because I do these things throughout the year with my virtual Bible study that many of you are a part of on most Sunday nights and a few occasional Wednesday nights! But even in the midst of that, I still make time to address the end times. But I've noticed many pastors today aren't ademate to talk about it because there's so many other things to talk about. The second reason I believe it may not be talked about is because they don't want to talk about what I call ''the meat of the Word.'' The book of Hebrews 5;12-14 that warns Christians about staying on ''spiritual milk'' too long. Let me explain what that means. Those of you who are parents may understand this. When a baby is born, can they handle let alone eat strong meat? Of course not! That would kill the baby if they ate strong meat! What can babies handle? Milk or soft foods! I have another baby nephew and I know that first hand! (Side note I have two nephews now with my oldest nephew being a toddler!) But when my nephews get bigger, they should be able to handle strong meat. Sadly many Christians get stuck on ''spiritual milk'' that they haven't graduated to ''strong spiritual meat''. Ladies, I'm gonna be blunt about this. The end times message is a ''strong spiritual meat'' type of message! I'm just keeping it real! Are there other ''strong spiritual meat subjects?'' Of course there are! But going back to what I was saying, perhaps pastors may avoid teaching and preaching about the end times message because it's a ''strong spiritual meat'' topic and not all can handle it. But that doesn't mean it shouldn't be addressed at all. I believe wisdom and prayer are required to know how to address it. The third reason I believe why pastors avoid it is because some of them don't know enough about it themselves. How can you teach or preach something that you don't understand much less live? Would it make sense to teach or preach about marriage if I'm not in that role? Of course it wouldn't make sense! Would it make sense to teach about holiness if I don't even believe in holiness? That wouldn't make sense! I'm just using those as examples but the bottom line is some pastors to be truthful don't know enough or understand biblical prophecy as they should! But what's the solution? First go to God in prayer about it, second research the Scriptures, and lastly perhaps go to someone or find a book that can help you understand it. That's my thoughts on that. The fourth reason perhaps why pastors don't address it is because they're afraid to ''scare people away''. Ladies, can I be upfront about this. Sometimes people need to hear things they don't want to hear, period! As Christians there's no exceptions! In fact the Bible says in 2 Timothy 4;2,3 KJV says ''Preach the Word be instant in season, out of season reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time shall come that many will not endure sound doctrine but after their own lusts shall leap themselves teachers having itching ears''. Ladies this Scripture is warning us that in the last days people won't want to hear sound doctrine like they should and if I can be truthful, not many want to hear about the end times either! That should be a concern and I want as many of you to understand that's a very important topic especially these days since I believe that the rapture is going to happen soon. Another reason perhaps is because the leaders who addressed the end times are getting old and dying off and not many younger leaders are picking up where they left off! That's very sad ladies! Now we know the Bible says in Ecclesiastes 3;2 says ''There's a time to be born and a time to die'' but just because someone passed on, should their legacy stop? Should their mantle also stop? No! When a faithful saint who's lived for God and especially was a preacher, we are to pick up where they left off! I think of the example of the late Dr Billy Graham's children. Even though he went home to be with the Lord in 2018, his adult children are carrying on preaching and living the gospel, especially his son Dr Franklin Graham! (He has sisters who are ministers and authors as well too.) With the end times, the next generation of ministers or teachers of the gospel are to carry on sharing the end times message especially about Jesus coming back period! It shouldn't stop with the last generation! I think about the move of the Holy Spirit. Just because the apostles of the Bible have long died and in heaven and the Pentecostal movement that happened in America in the early 1900s, was it just good for back then and not for today? Ladies you know the move of the Holy Spirit continues on despite leaders who have come and gone! That's something very important to remember! The end times message still needs to be shared period! It shouldn't die off because a generation of faithful Christians, ministers, and Bible teachers die off! That's why I believe the Lord has been having me teach this for the past two years because of that issue alone! Another point I want to make is there's consequences for not talking about the end times is because if you don't talk about, how will you prepare especially for Jesus coming back? That's dangerous because Jesus talked about the ''Parable Of The Virgins'' mentioned in Matthew 25;1-13 stating five were wise and five were foolish. The wise ones prepared before time while the foolish ones didn't! Pastors not addressing the issue are sadly creating more foolish virgins than wise ones! I'm not trying to badmouth other leaders but I know that our Bridegroom will deal with them for not addressing this issue because I know we're closer to Jesus' return today than we've ever been before. Ladies for those of you who plan to join me for Bible study, please come as many nights as possible please. Invite others to come as well too because I will address the end times message whether it's popular or not! I know some denominations don't talk about it but this is a interdenominational ministry ''Women's Warriors Academy'' and I want to be ready for Jesus' return as well as y'all! Hi ladies it's me again, happy Lord's day, and happy first Sunday of October! I know, right? I hope and pray that each of you ladies and your families are doing well. The title I have for this blog is called "Are We At The End Of The World?". I believe most of you ladies know the answer to that question. The world has its own agenda how they view it in Apocalypse, natural disaster, the world being non-existent, technology takeover, and no afterlife! I know, right? But as Christians, we know the answer to that. But before I dive into that, when did the last days start? According to the Bible especially Hebrew 1 it says the last days started when Christ walked the earth 2,000 plus years ago! What!? Of course the Bible gives additional details about the signs of the end times and that's what this blog is about today. Some of you ladies may be familiar with the words of Jesus mentioned in Matthew 24;7-12 where He talks about wars and rumors of wars, nation against nation, kingdom against kingdom, natural disasters in various places, increase of iniquity, persecution, betrayal, and the love of the most waxing cold! Wow! That's quite a bit mentioned in that passage of Scripture! How many of you ladies are seeing these signs especially these days? I believe all you have to do is turn on the news and that alone can show you we're in the end times lol. (Side note: be discerning what news sources you hear because sadly some of them are biased and don't always report the truth like they should! That's for another blog for another time!) In addition to that, government corruption is being exposed, economy going downhill, morality declining, violence escalating, (especially school shootings) hostility towards Christianity just to name some! I don't know about y'all, I don't know how clearer I and the Bible can get about these things! Ladies I'm not writing this to scare you but to bring awareness to this! Here's another painful truth people need to be aware of. Churches don't talk about the end times like they used to! I remember growing up at my former church and I used to hear about the end times taught a lot! I didn't hear it all the time but enough times that I can remember it! Not only that I used to hear Christian songs about it and even watched Christian movies about it! (Movies like 1972's ''A Thief In The Night'', 1999's ''The Moment After'' starring David AR White'', and 2000's ''Left Behind'' starring Kirk Cameron just to name a few!) But it seems like these days, you hear less and less teachings about the end times, less songs about it, or even movies! That's very concerning ladies because I believe we're closer to the end times now than back then! I also believe it's important for us ladies not only for ourselves to be ready, but for the rest of the body of Christ, and even our unsaved loved ones. Let's face it y'all! We know that Jesus can come any minute right? Would we want to catch Him unprepared? Remember the story about the ''Parable of the Ten Virgins'' mentioned in Matthew 25;1-12? Five were wise and five were foolish. The five wise were prepared with oil while the foolish ones had lamps but no oil! I also have been hearing about the Lord showing ''rapture dreams'' to many of His people and they've been sharing it on social media as a warning for us His people to be ready when He returns! Yes Jesus coming back in the rapture is definitely a sign of the end times which is why it's important for us Christians to aim to get closer to Him each and everyday by prayer, His Word, and being in consistent fellowship with the saints! It's also important to pray for our unsaved loved ones and for the unsaved we don't know to get saved, and for prodigals to come back to Christ! Why? They need a Savior and believe they don't want to get left behind and I'll reserve sharing more about that in another blog as this month progresses! Also another important note is that this month is the first Sunday of October through Sunday November 15th, (On Sunday November 22nd, I'll be sharing my Thanksgiving message because Thanksgiving holiday will be Thursday November 26th this year. We'll cross that bridge when we come to it though!) I'll be doing a seven week series during Bible study about the end times! it will begin with the rapture, seven year Tribulation period, the second coming of Christ/Millennial reign, the Great White throne judgment, and the new heavens and earth! I highly urge y'all to attend as many Sundays as possible because it's very important to talk about and prepare for. That's what I wanted to share with you ladies. Hi ladies it's me again and happy Tuesday! I hope and pray that each of you ladies and your families are doing well. Well ladies let me also wish you ladies a happy autumn! I know, right? The day after the Jewish holiday ''Roshannah'' is when the fall season officially began! In this blog, the title that I have is called the ''Natural And Spiritual Beauty Of Fall''. As we know in the state of Wisconsin, we get to experience four seasons of Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. Many of you ladies may know the joke I have for Wisconsin is you can experience ''all four seasons in a week or sometimes in a day'' lol! That's just how it is! But as we know the season of fall brings many wonderful things. Number one the weather is not as hot and I'm sure many of y'all are thankful to the Lord about that! As all of us know as much as we love the summer season (Sommer is my name lol) we know the heat can be scorching especially this year since we've had record breaking heat! I know the craziness of dealing with that and because of that we got to have quite a bit of rain! Anyhow, alot of us know that the weather is warm but not too hot and not too cold. The other beautiful thing about fall is that the leaves turn colors and we get to rake the leaves! I know, right? As for right now many trees leaves in my area haven't turned colors yet but I guarantee you as the fall goes on that it will! Leaves turning color is such a beautiful thing and I believe it's amazing that we serve such a diverse and creative God! God isn't just the God of ''black and white'' but also a God who makes colors! Colors was His idea and He decided to display that in His creation especially with leaves and in flowers too! (Of course let's not forget the rainbow but the rainbow didn't arrive on the scene until Noah's time!) Of course the fun part is when the leaves turn color and fall off the tree, we have to rake the leaves while kids get to play in the leaves! The other fun fact about fall is that fall is when school starts! Of course we know that some students may like school while some students may not like school as much and I can understand both! I know that school can be a beautiful but challenging time for students, teachers, and parents. Whether it be a student going to school for the first time or an adult going back to school, learning can be wonderful but challenging since everyone learns differently.Not only that, certain subjects in school some students understand better than others not to mention that teachers have various teaching styles or teach different grades. (Side note, I've done a blog earlier in the month sharing the importance of praying for teachers especially since many of them have unique struggles. Being a teacher is one of the most challenging jobs in the world besides being a preacher!) Not only that, teachers have to have patience with each student, keep order in the classroom, as well as making learning fun and engaging. Simply put, being a teacher is a tough job whether it's teaching kids, teens, or adults! Whether it's teaching at a preschool, public school, private school, Christian school, homeschooling, or teaching college students, teaching is a tough job! I know that from experience too! But you know what? God gives me grace to do so and I trust that He gives other teachers grace as to teach as well which is why they need our prayers desperately! (Side note, for those that come to my weekly virtual prayer meetings, I make sure to lift teachers, students, and parents in prayer as well!) Of course for parents with kids and teens, the challenge they face is getting them to school on time, homework, as well as balancing family time. Whether the child or teen attends preschool, public school, private school, Christian school, or is homeschooled, parents have various challenges to navigate and they need prayer for that among being good parents period! Another beautiful thing about fall is it's harvest time! It's a a wonderful time for farmers because farmers usually sow the seeds during the Spring time but it takes a good while for it to harvest. Most of a farmer's crops don't come into full blossom until the fall time! During the fall time, farmers are able to gather the harvest of their crops, especially corn,rice, and pumpkins! The farmers also get to enjoy their labor and eat the fruit of their labor! The last point about fall in the natural is that it's a time of preparation for the winter time! I know alot of us don't like to think about that but it's the truth! As we know, many animals such as squirrels, birds, or various other creatures gather their food and prepare to head down South because of the brutal winter time. Fall is a time for us to prepare our clothing, our homes, or prepare in other ways for the winter time! You ladies maybe thinking, what in the world does this have anything to do our spiritual lives as Christians?'' Well I'd like to say especially the harvesting part that while we may not be ''natural farmers'' but we should be ''spiritual farmers''. What I mean by that is that remember that the Bible says in Galatians 6;7 ''You reap what you sow?'' What does that mean? As Christians we need to be aware that we sow things good or bad! It's my prayer that as Christians are sowing things that benefit God's kingdom! It's important for us to sow into souls getting saved, sow into valuable relationships, sow times in the Word of God, sow times in prayer, sow times in pouring into others, and sow to us ministering to others saved or not! Many of you ladies know that it's important to sow into things that are long lasting and that bear eternal fruit! Ladies, here's the truth we need to remember. I know all of us want to make our lives count on earth don't we? I know I do! It's important to ask God to help us sow into the things that matter especially for eternal things! Also remember that sometimes we may see the ''fruit of our harvest'' sometimes in this life but some harvest we won't see until the next life until we go to heaven! You know what, that's okay! Whether we see the ''fruit of our harvest'' here in this life or the next life, what matters is that God sees it and will reward us either way! Another point I want to make is remember when I said that fall is preparation for winter? Well preparation is important for our lives as Christians. It's important for us to prepare for the hard times in life, prepare for the rapture, and prepare for heaven! We must be prepared to go into spiritual battle first and foremost. The Bible tells us in Epehsians 6;11 ''To put on the full armor of God so that you may take your stand against the devil's schemes''. I'm sure many of you ladies know that we Christians aren't immune from spiritual battles or going through storms. But God has given us ''spiritual weapons'' to help us such as ''spiritual armor'', (read the rest of Ephesians 6) weapons of His Word, praise, prophetic degrees, as well as prayer! That's one important thing to prepare for. Another thing to prepare for is to prepare for heaven. Y'all may have heard the old saying go, ''Heaven is a prepared place for prepared people'' is a very true saying! It's important for us Christians to prepare for heaven. The late legendary Dr Billy Graham said. ''Our lives on earth are a ''dressing room'' for eternity''. In other words what we do down here will impact our eternal destination! Another thing to be ready for is our Lord's return. Jesus also tells us to be ready for His coming at all times. (Perhaps next month I'll be sharing more about that concerning the end times as I believe is a much needed teaching for today.) He talked about in Matthew 25;1-13 talks about the ''Parable Of The Virgins'' five were wise and five were foolish. The five wise ones had oil in their lamps and were prepared for the bridegroom while the foolish ones had five lamps with no oil and didn't prepare! What's the principle in that? Five prepared before time while the other five didn't prepare! I believe that's essential for us in the body of Christ to be prepared for the Lord's coming since many of us sense that His return is near! Those are several things to think about as we're in the fall season and these were the things the Lord laid on my heart to share with you ladies. Hi ladies it's me again, happy Lord's day, and happy fall! (We transitioned into the season of fall the day after Roshannah!) I hope and pray that each of you ladies and your families are doing well. I'm happy to present another blog called ''Martha Munizzi Vs Anna Christine Similarities And Differences.'' If any of you ladies have been following my latest blogs I've been clarifying about what ''real life musicians'' Anna Christine is inspired by. I revealed one of them was Katy Perry and another one was the late Teena Marie! I'm sharing another one with a similar theme and that is worship arts pastor and gospel artist Martha Munizzi. What are the things that Martha Munizzi and Anna Christine have in common? Well number one they both are white women. Number two, they come from a family of five. Number three they come from a family of musicians. (Especially since both Martha's mom Faith Stallings and Pastor Leraine Pickler Anna Christine's mom both were singing mothers!) Number four both Martha Munizzi and Anna Christine started singing from the moment they were kids and they both have ''soulful voices!'' Number five they both are ministers' kids and gave their lives to Christ at young ages. Number six they both became independent Christian artists when they both were just sixteen years old! Number seven they both got married and had kids at young ages especially right after high school. Number eight they released their solo albums when they were 34 years old! Martha Munizzi in 2002 released her debut album called ''Say The Name'' while Anna Christine in 2008 released her gospel sophomore album called ''Anna Christine Features The Nashville Riverside Choir''! Number nine Martha Munizzi's husband Dan Munizzi and Anna Christine's husband Michael Owens Sr, are also their business managers as well! Number ten they both signed to independent labels and were able to minister to racial diverse audiences. Number eleven, their musical style in addition to them having ''soulful voices'' is they're involved in the praise and worship genre. Number twelve they won many awards and their children are recording artists too. What are the differences between those women? Number one Martha Munizzi is a twin, was born in 1968, and was born and raised in Florida. On the contrast, Anna Christine was born in 1974, is not a twin, and was born and raised in Texas. Number two, Martha and her twin sister Mary are the youngest and have an older sister named Marvelyne. On the contrast, Anna Christine is the oldest of three children who has a younger sister named Erin Cooper (née Pickler) was born in 1976 and a younger brother Pastor Jerad Jr was born in 1978. (Both Anna Christine's younger siblings married, have adult children, and have grandkids by the end of the story making Pastor Jerad Sr and Pastor Leraine great-grandparents!) Number three Martha Munizzi's dad John Stallngs was a traveling evangelist for many years and traveled with his family until he quit to become a pastor of a church when Martha Munizzi was a preteen and her sisters too. On the contrast, Anna Christine's dad Pastor Jerad Sr was an associate pastor at three different churches (He was a children's pastor for sixteen years, a youth pastor for seven years, and Christian education/executive pastor for ten years) prior to him becoming a co-pastor of ''Nashville Riverside Church'' in 2006! Number four while they both became independent Christian artists as teenagers, Martha, her twin sister Mary, and older sister Marvelyne released an album as a trio while Anna Christine as a teen, was a solo independent Christian artist! (Side note as a teen, she released her self-titled debut album called Lisa Marie Pickler in 1990!) Number five, Anna Christine was in the secular music industry for fourteen years prior to releasing her gospel album called ''Anna Christine Features The Nashville Riverside Choir''. On the contrast, Martha Munizzi was simply a worship arts pastor before releasing her 2002 album called ''Say The Name'' and never was a secular artist. Number six, Martha Munizzi walked with the Lord from a young age and never backslid while Anna though she walked with Christ from a young age, she sadly drifted away from the Lord for fifteen years. (She was ages 17 through 32 when that happened and it wasn't until 2006 when she was 32 years old when she recommitted her life back to Christ.) Number seven while both Martha Munizzi and Anna Christine got married at young ages right after high school, Martha Munizzi remains still married to her husband Dan Munizzi while Anna Christine was married three times and divorced twice! Number eight Martha Munizzi has three children while Anna Christine Christine has six children, (three sons and three daughters) and by the end of the story has 21 grandkids! The main last difference is that Martha Munizzi uses her real name (Her maiden name was Stallings while Munizzi is her married last name) while Anna Christine is Anna Christine's stage name! (I shared about that in previous blogs and Anna Christine's real name is Lisa Marie Owens. Owens is her married last name while Pickler is her maiden name!) So that's what I wanted to share with you ladies to share another blog about another real life musician that Anna Christine was inspired by. I figured I'd share some of the secular artists she was inspired by and share a gospel artist she was inspired by as well. It's important to know that Anna Christine was a backslidden and a secular artist but when she came back to Christ, she returned back to being a gospel artist. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I believe it's important to pray for Hollywood stars to get saved and use their art for the Lord as well too. It's now at the end of Roshannah and now we're into the Jewish new year while still in the month of September! (If y'all read my previous blog, I shared the importance of Roshannah and how I've been digging into the ''Jewish roots of Christianity'' as well without neglecting celebrating Christmas, Good Friday, Easter, and other holidays we Americans celebrate!) Anyhow the title I have for this blog is called ''Teena Marie Vs Anna Christine Similarities And Differences''. Do you ladies remember my Katy Perry blog that compared her to my fictional character Anna Christine? Well this blog is a blog like that as well where it compares and contrasts with the late Teena Marie and Anna Christine. Let's discuss the things that both these ladies have in common. First they both are white women and I know that sounds silly but important. Another thing they have in common is that they both are great singers and have ''soulful voices''. In chapter one of my Anna Christine book it talks about her nickname growing up is ''Soul Chick'' because of her being white sounding like she's black. The late Teena Marie was a white woman who sounded black when she sang. Another thing is that they both grew up in church singing. I know, right? They both are songwriters and music appeals to racial diverse audiences.Another thing they have in common was that they both started off in bands. The late Teena Marie was in a band until Berry Gordy (founder of Motown who discovered Diana Ross, ''The Supremes'', Smokey Robinson, and even the legendary ''Jackson 5''!) wanted to sign her as a solo act. Anna Christine was in a Grammy awards now disbanded female band called ''The Soul Divas'' before transitioning to being a solo secular artist. Another thing they have in common is that they both have stage names! For those that don't know the late Teena Marie's actual birth name was Mary Christine Brockert while Anna Christine's birth name was Lisa Marie Pickler! (Her married last name became Owens.) Another thing they both had in common is that their children followed in their musical footsteps. The late Teena Marie who has a daughter Alia Rose has been recording music under her name since 2015 and Anna Christine has three daughters that pursued musical careers as well too. Kristle Hudson, (from Anna's first marriage) Nicole Johnson-Thomas, (from Anna's second marriage) and Dominique Owens-Chavez (from Anna's third and lasting marriage to Pastor Michael Sr.) became recording artists, actresses, as well as married , and had children. (Makenzie Hudson also became a recording artist and actress as a teenager who's also the oldest daughter of Kristle Hudson. Anna Christine's three sons had film producing careers, married, and had kids especially Abigail Jennings who became a recording artist and actress at fourteen years old too!) The main thing they had in common is their belief in God which is the most important thing. What are their differences? Well for one, the late Teena Marie was born in 1956 and was born and raised in California while Anna Christine was born in 1976 and was born and raised in Texas! The late Teena Marie went to ''Santa Monica College'' briefly before dropping out while Anna Christine never went to college! (If you read chapter 3, it talks about after she drifted from the Lord and quit being a Christian artist, at seventeen in 1991 until eighteen years old in 1992, she worked at her aunt's daycare on weekdays and sang background vocals for former secular artist Marcella Veldez on weekends!) The late Teena Marie was popular throughout the 1980s until the mid 1990s and took a hiatus that lasted until 2004 with her album ''La Dona''. On the contrast Anna Christine became popular in the 1990s first with the former Grammy award female group the ''Soul Divas'' and in 1996, released her secular solo album called ''The Heart'' and was in the secular music industry until her last secular album in 2006's ''Look To The Sky'' before recommitting her life to Christ. It was also in 2008 she released her sophomore gospel album called ''Anna Christine Featuring The Nashville Riverside Choir'' her first gospel album since her self-titled debut album in 1990. There was somewhat a ''hiatus'' between her gospel albums from 1990 through 2008 but didn't have an ''official hiatus''. Another big difference is that the late Teena Marie never married but had one daughter whose name was Alia Rose in 1991 and was raised as an only child. On the contrast, Anna Christine was married three times, divorced twice, had six children, (three sons and three daughters) and had 21 grandkids by the end of the story! Another thing is that Anna Christine is a pastor's kid while the late Teena Marie was not. (I revealed that in the Katy Perry blog because Anna and her are pastor's kids!) But the main difference is that the late Teena Marie died while Anna Christine is still living. Some of you ladies may be thinking why would I waste time comparing Anna Christine to real people living or dead? The reason is because you have questions who Anna Christine was inspired by and by sharing stories about real people can give y'all hints as to why I wrote the book the way that I did. Again I revealed several things in the Katy Perry blog and now in this blog I'm revealing some more details about the late Teena Marie. Another fact I also want to share is that any fiction story I've ever written is what folks call ''realistic fiction'' something that can happen in real life but it's fiction. Hi ladies it's me again and happy Lord's day! I hope and pray that each of you ladies and your families are doing well. I'm switching gears a bit and I'll be sharing something similar that I shared last year. The name of the blog is called "Acknowledging Roshannah". This is honoring the Jewish holiday is when the Jews have the ten days of awe. The ten days of awe are the ten days of repentance. It all started on September 11th which started almost two weeks ago and it will end tomorrow Monday September 21st. September 21st on Monday is when Yom Kippur starts the Jewish New Year! Wow! Isn't that something? Ladies I've been honoring this Jewish holiday Roshannah since 2020 something I've chosen to honor something I've done by choice. (I also honor Passover but that doesn't mean that I honor Christmas, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday.) I've been doing this for the past six years is to honor the Jewish roots of Christianity and to be better understand the Jews! I believe that Roshannah is important to celebrate for several reasons. Number one it honors the importance of repentance. Now you maybe thinking "Shouldn't we repent everyday?" Yes we should! Can we honor Jesus' birth, death, and resurrection anytime throughout the year? Yes we should! But there are times of the year to honor and celebrate those events on those holidays. I believe that it's important to repentance is throughout the year but Roshannah is a time to repent. It's the time to allow God to go deep enough to change us. Again that's something we need everyday but Roshannah is a time to allow God to go deep enough to purge us like it says in John 15. The second thing about Roshannah is it's a time of humbling oneself , praying, and fasting. Now should we do those things throughout the year? Yes we should. A Scripture I think about is 2 Chronicles 7:14 that says. "If My people who are called by My name shall humble themselves, pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways. I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal the land". I know a lot of us know that Scripture and side note the first day of Roshannah this year took place on the 25th anniversary of 9/11 I don't believe is a coincidence. That should be a time for us in the body of Christ during Roshannah and year long to do that Scripture in order to see our nation turn around. We humble ourselves, fast, and pray not just for ourselves but for others especially our nation. God notices when we do that. The third thing I want to say is to define what repentance is. You may say, "Why is that important to know?" Repentance means to change thinking, feeling, or course of action. Repentance is like making a u-turn! Many of you should know what that means! If course when were unsaved we had to see our need for Christ and we asked Him to forgive our sins and He helped us to repent which means change! How many of you know we need God even after getting saved to help us to continue to change? I know I do! Many of you know the Scripture in Romans 12:2 "Be not conformed to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind!" Should we ask God to help us change throughout the year? Of course! But Roshannah is also a important time to do it. The fourth thing is it's toward the end of the Jewish calendar. What you ladies need to know is that the Jewish calendar is different than the American calendar. The Jewish calendar has 13 months while our American calendar has 12 months. The end of the Jewish calendar is either in September or October while the last day of the year for the American calendar is December 31st and the new year is on January 1st! So I'm honoring the end of the Jewish calendar and New Year before we honor New Years on December 31st and January 1st! Wow! I get to celebrate three New Years! The fifth thing is that Roshannah can give you a reset. You know how people make goals for the new year? I'm sure all of us have! But how many of us actually keep them and do them? Not many sadly. But Roshannah can help with that and I'm sure all of us want to grow deeper in Christ, reflect His character, and impact the world don't we? I do! In addition to that, I think we have other goals too but Roshannah as well as the Lord can help us obtain what He wants for us to do on the Jewish New year and finish out the rest of the American year strong too. That's what I wanted to share with you ladies. I'm not trying to force you ladies to do Roshannah but I am saying that it's something to research, pray about, and consider doing. I've been sharing messages on repentance every Sunday in this entire month and will do it even the last Sunday of September a week after Roshannah! I believe that it's going to lead to another important message in October (I trust the Lord to lead me in that) that will be important for all of us. Hi ladies it's me again and happy Tuesday! I hope and pray that each of you ladies and your families are doing well. I'm happy to present another blog that may surprise y'all and it's called "Katy Perry Vs Anna Christine Similarities And Differences". I know that may seem crazy but please hear me out. If you ladies saw my previous blog it's about my latest book about Anna Christine! (I also made a YouTube video about it and trust that it will get several views in Jesus name!) This blog is about who Anna Christine was loosely inspired from! Let's dive deep into the life of Katy Perry. Alot of you ladies may or may not know that Katy Perry is a secular artist, actress, and into the fashion industry since 2008 with the release of her album "One Of The Boys". But what I'm about to mention here are things about her background that may surprise y'all but another purpose is me sharing this so we know how to pray for her too. The first thing I want to share is Katy Perry is not her real name but rather a stage name! I know right? The title of my latest book Anna Christine did y'all know is my fictional characters stage name? I know right? That's the first thing that Katy Perry and Anna Christine have in common! Katy Perry's birth name is Kathryn Elizabeth Hudson while Anna Christine's birth name is Lisa Marie Pickler! (The part Lisa Marie was named after the late Lisa Marie Presley and her maiden name Pickler came from American Idol season 5 finalist and country artist Kellie Pickler!) The second thing they have in common is they are white women who have dark hair. The third thing they have in common is they come from a family of five (I do as well) and were pastors daughters! What? I know right? Katy Perry's parents are Pastor Keith and Pastor Mary Hudson (nee Perry) and they were "hippies" (Y'all remember the hippie movement in the 1960s through the 1980s?) before they became Christians! My character Anna Christine's parents weren't hippies before becoming Christians but they had a unique past. Pastor Leraine Pickler (nee Tatome) Anna Christine's mom was a Mormon while her earthly father Pastor Jerad Pickler Sr was a Roman Catholic before both of them moved to Texas and before they became Christians! Both the Hudson family and the Pickler family went to Bible college and graduated and their kids (especially Katy Perry and Anna Christine) at one time were heavily involved in church! The fourth thing which is pretty obvious is that God gave both Katy Perry and Anna Christine the ability of being great singers! They've been great singers since they were toddlers and used to sing in their church for a good part of their lives. They also became songwriters as a preteen or early teen years! The fifth thing that maybe surprising to hear is that these ladies moved from their hometowns and moved to Nashville, Tennessee to sign with independent Christian labels! Katy Perry who was then known as Katy Hudson signed with Red hill records while my fictional character Anna Christine signed with independent Christian label Judah records! When Katy Hudson was about seventeen years old in 2001 when she released her self-titled debut album while my fictional character Anna Christine released her self-titled debut album in 1990 when she was sixteen years old under the name Lisa Marie Pickler! I know that's crazy right? The sixth thing that Katy Perry and Anna Christine have in common is sadly the independent Christian record labels they signed to went bankrupt and out of business one year after their debut albums were released! I know right? Instead of seeking another Christian record label and remaining true to their Christian roots they drifted further away from the Lord and started getting into the things of the world. They left their hometown and Nashville, Tennessee to seek record labels in the secular music world! The seventh thing that Katy Perry and Anna Christine have in common is that several years after their self-titled debut album, they found success in the secular music world. As I already mentioned Katy Perry in 2008 released her secular music debut album called "One Of The Boys" while my fictional character Anna Christine released her solo secular music album in 1996 called "The Heart" inspired by season 4 American Idol winner and country artist Carrie Underwood's 2005 debut album "Some Hearts". Those are the things that Katy Perry and Anna Christine have in common. What are some differences between them? Well first of all Katy Perry was born and raised in Santa Barbara, California and was born in the year 1984 while Anna Christine was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas and was born in 1974! Katy Perry is the middle child in her family (She has one older sister and one younger brother) while Anna Christine is the oldest of three children (Has a younger sister and younger brother) in her family just like me! Another thing is that Katy Perry dropped out of high school but got her GED while Anna Christine skipped a grade as a child and graduated from high school a year early one year before she turned eighteen! Anna Christine had a romantic relationship with her first boyfriend (who became her first husband) and got pregnant out of wedlock and had a child. That didn't at all happen to Katy Perry because she fell in love later in life. Katy Perry from 2002 until 2007 was looking for record deals that fell through and worked as a songwriter for various secular artists. Anna Christine at seventeen until eighteen years old (1991 until 1992) worked at her aunt's daycare on weekdays and sang background vocals for secular artist Marcella Veldez. The following year she quit those jobs and joined a fictional Grammy award female band called the "Soul Divas" for three years from 1992 until 1995 prior to her releasing her secular solo album "The Heart" in 1996. Katy Perry fell in love and married famous Comedian named Russell Brand in 2010 but divorced in 2012 and they had no children together. On the contrast, Anna Christine was married three times, divorced twice, and had six kids (three sons and three daughters) from each of her marriages! (She had two kids from her first marriage to Wyatt Jennings Sr, two kids from her second marriage to Stuart Johnson Sr, and her two biracial children with her third marriage to Michael Owens Sr her manager and black husband.) Katy Perry later fell in love with famous actor Orlando Bloom and they had a daughter during COVID named Daisy! Katy Perry only has a only child a daughter while Anna Christine has six adult children, and has 21 grandkids by the end of the story! But what makes the biggest difference is that at 32 years old in 2006 (After fifteen years of being backslidden) Anna Christine recommitted her life to Christ and did her last secular music tour with her friends and vowed to "walk away from the Hollywood life" to live for Christ. In addition to that she relocated with her household (Her third husband Michael Sr and six kids) back to Nashville, Tennessee and attended her parents (Pastor Jerad Sr and Pastor Leraine) church "Nashville Riverside Church" a church they co-founded together. Two years to her Christian walk and leaving the secular music industry, when she was 34 years old, Anna Christine and the "Nashville Riverside Choir" released their gospel album in 2008 the same year Katy Perry released her 2008 album "One Of The Boys"! (Pastor Leraine directed the "Nashville Riverside Choir" and co-wrote some songs along with her daughter Anna Christine as well too.) Another important thing ladies is we need to continue to pray for Katy Perry. Pray that God softens her heart, pray that God brings back to her remembrance of the Christian values that her parents Pastor Keith and Pastor Mary Hudson taught her, and for her to give her life to Christ. Pray that Katy Perry will not only get saved but also leave the secular music industry and become a Christian artist. Pray that her only child Daisy will want to know Jesus as her Lord and Savior too. I don't agree with Katy Perry's lifestyle but she needs prayer as did our unsaved loved ones and strangers who are non-Christians or prodigals. That's part of why Anna Christine was written. Hi ladies it's me again and happy Lord's day! I hope and pray that each of you ladies and your families are doing well. I'm happy present to you ladies another wonderful blog about some exciting news. Ladies the title of this blog is called "Anna Christine/Hollywood Star To Gospel Artist!" For those of you ladies who may or may not know, that is the title for my latest book! I know right? This has been a long time coming and something that the Lord put on my heart to do since I was a teenager! You ladies maybe wondering is it a novel or nonfiction? Well ladies it's another Contemporary realistic Christian fiction which means though it's fiction it takes place in the modern times and realistic means it can happen in real life! This story is about a woman who's actual birth name is Lisa Marie Pickler (The Lisa Marie was inspired by the late Lisa Marie Presley and her maiden last name Pickler came from American Idol finalist and country artist Kellie Pickler!) was born and raised in Texas, grew up a pastor's kid along with her two younger siblings, got saved at a young age, and sang in church all her life. Sound familiar? Later she and her relatives moved to Nashville, Tennessee where her father continued pastoring and she released her debut album as a independent Christian artist and was a kids writer at 16 years old! She also met her first boyfriend who was a Christian and deacon's kid whom she fell madly in love with. But things got complicated when sexual misconduct happened and Lisa and her parents life got turned upside down. She got pregnant with her first child and had child out of wedlock, Christian record label fell through, graduated from high school, experienced rejection from family, church, and the Christian music industry! I know right? Then she married her first husband, she, him, and firstborn moved out of state, and thus began Lisa's journey away from the Lord which lasted for fifteen years! She worked at daycare on weekends and sang background vocals for a secular artist on weekends. She met a coworker at both the daycare and singing background vocals who was a young wife, young mom, Asian American, and seeking to build a better life. The following year, Lisa and this Asian friend quit working at daycare and being background vocalists to joining a Grammy award R&B girl band over the next few years. Lisa had another child and things went downhill in her first marriage. The following year she got divorced for the first time and started dating a famous actor in Hollywood! She got pregnant with her third child and had later had a "shotgun elopement" to marry him. They were married for the next four years and had a daughter and son together while Lisa brought kids from her first marriage. Meanwhile her relatives that are Christians continued praying for her to come back to Christ and her younger sister graduated from high school and attended college. As time went on, the band Lisa was in eventually disbanded and decided to become a secular solo artist and so did her Asian friend! (The other two women decided to become gospel artists and actresses as well as they later married and started families.) Lisa's second husband encouraged her to also be an actress and she started in several movies and tv shows. At 22, Lisa got a new stage name that was called "Anna Christine" and released her solo secular album while her younger sister graduated from college and got married. (Her younger brother graduated from high school and he and the rest of the family moved to Chicago, Illinois.) Things in Anna Christine's second marriage went south and a couple years later divorced. But before she got divorced, she befriended a former banker and taxi cab driver who became her manager, studio engineer, and bodyguard. He was a black guy who was a backslidden pastors kid and both his parents and Anna's dad were pastors who worked at the same church in Chicago! When Anna Christine got divorced for the second and final time, her manager who was also her friend was there for her. Her Asian friend lost her first husband in a car accident but he got saved two weeks before that happened. She too gained a new friend and manager who was Anna Christine cousin. Anna Christine had another cousin who was a Christian, worship arts pastor, a family woman, (married with kids) and part of a female Christian racial diverse group the sister of her backslidden cousin who liked her Asian American friend. Anna's second ex-husband fell in love with one of Anna's other famous musician and actress friends too and they eventually got married. Anna Christine married the third and final time to her friend/manager while her Asian American widowed friend her new manager who was Anna's backslidden male cousin. Each of those couples blended a family. As years went on, being famous in the secular music world and acting world became a lot for Anna Christine and her friends. The paparazzi followed her, family, and friends, won Grammy awards, won acting awards, featured on magazines and interviews, but it was becoming a lot. Not to mention the challenges of blending a family as well as being estranged from her parents, siblings, in-laws, and nieces and nephews. (Her siblings married and had kids and her younger brother did go to college to be a pastor. Her brother-in-law went to college to be a pastor as well.) Several years went by when Anna Christine's third husband/manager had a near death experience that made her rethink her life. She was now 32 years old the mother of six kids, (she had two biracial kids a son and daughter with her third husband/manager) and at a crossroads. The Lord revealed Himself to her and her third husband and urged both of them to come back to Him which they did. Her friends got saved, as did her ex-husbands, and their households. Finally Anna Christine's loved ones prayers for her came true and it was time for her loved ones to leave Chicago, Illinois, their church, and jobs to relocate to Nashville, Tennessee. Anna Christine, her household, friends, and others left the "Hollywood life" to move to Nashville, Tennessee to attend her parents church they co-founded together. Anna Christine, her household, and friends prayed, read and applied the Bible, received the baptism in the Holy Spirit speaking in tongues. They also did one more secular music tour and then said goodbye to the secular music world altogether! But there were additional obstacles she had to overcome like once again dealing with rejection from "major Christian record labels" but God opened doors for her. Her mom later founded a choir and asked for Anna Christine to be the lead vocalist and when Anna was 34 years old, she returned to the gospel music industry after eighteen years of being away from the Christian music industry. She collaborated with her mom's choir and became known in the gospel music industry. Her second ex-husband and his wife, along with her Asian American friend/cousin and others started in Christian movies and tv shows. Her musician friends also became Christian artists along with Anna Christine and won various Christian music award shows. Anna Christine's three daughters along with her musician friends kids became Christian artists, and started their own families as well too. At the end of the story, Anna Christine, her mom, mom-in-law, and others shared their testimony at the women's conference. Anna and her mom's choir sang at the end and many lives at the women's conference were blessed. That's the quick version of what the book is about and it's loosely inspired by Katy Perry who was a pastor's kid and Christian artist before she became a secular artist! I know right? (Side note we need to pray for Katy Perry to come back to Christ and get out of the secular music world so she'll sing for the Lord as well as live for Him!) Hi ladies it's me again and happy Tuesday! I hope and pray that each of you ladies and your families are doing well. Of course it's the day after Labor Day and hope y'all enjoyed your time with loved ones. The title I have for this blog and something I write and do every year is "Pray For Teachers". As we all know teachers go through a ton of stress and I'm sure we all know that. Of course not all students want to learn and they can be disruptive in class. Let's pray there's less of that this year. Let's also pray that teachers have patience with each child, teen, or adult student (Let's not forget about adults getting their GED, adult highschool diploma, or college students along with college professors) because everyone learns differently and that students will respect their teachers. Let's pray against bullying especially for younger students and that classmates will be friendly with each other. Let's also pray against anymore school shootings which we know is a big problem since the late 1990s. We know how that horribly impacts teachers, students, parents, and I believe there's something demonic about that. I believe it's the enemy seeking to rob, kill, and destroy teachers and especially young lives. We need to cover teachers, students, and parents in the blood of Jesus. Pray for those who are considering doing anymore school shootings that the fear of the Lord to come upon them and perhaps for them to attempt to shoot but their gun doesn't work or something! I know that sounds crazy but I'm sick and tired of school shootings and we need to pray that stops in Jesus name! Let's also pray that students are able to read, write, understand Math, as well as other subjects. Ladies this past year I've been watching and hearing disturbing videos about teachers saying that students don't understand basic concepts. I don't know about y'all but that's very concerning. I'm sure there are various reasons why that is so but we need to pray that students whether minors or adults understand the importance of reading, writing, and Math and the importance of applying them in life. Pray that God opens their mind and understanding to those things as well as to persevere when the going gets tough. Let's also pray for Christian students going to secular schools and Christian teachers working in the secular schools to be salt and light in a dark world. Jesus said in Matthew 5:16 "Let your light shine before men so they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven". Pray that classmates and Christian teachers who have co-workers that are non-Christians to see Christ in them and want what they have. Pray for Christian teachers to rely on the Lord to help them whether they're teaching in a public school, Christian school, or homeschooling. Let's pray that there will continue to be Christian schools and for God to be invited back in the classroom. Let's pray for teachers to balance their work life, family life, and mental health. Teachers experience a lot of burnout due to school pressures and pressures of their personal lives so they need prayer for that. Don't forget to pray for homeschool parents and students for God to bless them and for teacherpreneurs (as I am) who teach outside the traditional classroom. Pray that God will send students teacherpreneurs way that are pleasant not burdensome. Being a teacher is a precious but demanding work and they need love, compassion, prayer, and understanding with the school year upon us. If you were a teacher that's retired, know a teacher, or even if you don't know one please keep us in your prayers. We need them desperately! Of course all of us ladies need prayer.
