Welcome to Women’s Warriors Academy.

How did "Women's Warriors Academy" begin? Well it began back in 2021 after dealing with a hard year of Covid. Sommer Kelly went through personal and church transitions and sought for God's direction. She left behind a Mega church in Wisconsin to attend a smaller church. But she noticed that both churches didn't have Sunday night services. Actually the Mega church in Wisconsin she left behind used to do weekly Sunday night but only did Sunday night service twice a month while the new small church she attended got rid of Sunday night church altogether. Neither situation sat well with Sommer and she cried out to God in prayer about what to do and the Lord put on her heart to start her own Bible study on Sunday nights. Sunday night virtual Bible study began in the Spring of 2021 and the first year only had two people but Sommer kept being faithful at it and trusted God to eventually grow it. Then the year 2022 happened. God put on her heart to add more to the ministry in many ways. God told Sommer to start a Facebook group to invite more people in, to add a Tuesday night prayer meeting, to have a name for the group, and even had a website! Those were big moves for Sommer to make but she obeyed God started a Facebook group, added a prayer night, had a group name, and did the website. The warrior part was actually inspired by Deborah in the Bible because Deborah was a prophetess, judge, and warrior mentioned in Judges 4. God gave her the name "Women's Warriors" and Sommer believed that God wants His daughters to be "warriors" in the Word and prayer to grow deeper in Him and fellowship with others as they grow to be who God called them to be. The part academy is used because Sommer didn't want to use the word ministries or a church denomination name (For instance "Women's Warriors Baptist Church", "Women's Warriors Assembly Of God Church" etc) because she wanted to welcome Christian women from various denominations is why Women's Warriors Academy is interdenominational. She feels that sometimes denomination named can bring more disunity than unity. The prayer meeting was also started because she realized there weren't many prayer groups in her area and sensed the Lord who led her to gather as many Christian women to pray for each other, their families, churches, as well as praying for America and the peace of Jerusalem. Like the virtual Bible study, her prayer meetings started off small but she remained consistent and believed God overtime to grow her virtual prayer meetings. Gradually God told Sommer to add more to the ministry and in 2023 she created digital downloads and started writing weekly blogs to encourage the women in their walk with the Lord as well as showcasing her writing skills. Now God put something new on Sommer's heart and that is her venture with her women's ministry with a virtual Bible school that she plans to launch in the fall of 2025. After Sommer graduated from Matc (Milwaukee Area Technical College) it's her desire to train Christian women in ministry and give them affordable opportunities to become pastors, prophets, and teachers of the Word of God and give them better opportunities to get into ministry either to come in staff with her or work as a women's ministry director at their local church. In the summer of 2026 Sommer also hopes to offer coaching sessions for an affordable price to help women walk through the problems of their past and allow the Lord to bring healing to them. It's Sommer's prayer and vision for women to be who God made them to be and for those called to go into ministry to have a easier time than she did getting into ministry. Sommer desires that "Women's Warriors Academy" goal is to equipped women and ministry and to come alongside local churches in unity to usher a move of God in Southereastern Wisconsin.
